“ I wanted something to live and die for. I wanted something to breathe and to bleed for.
I’m not interested in trying to figure out ways to make my life safe and preserve my comfort.” Derek Loux
Our own Elizabeth and Danny Wilson have been chosen in the State Staffing to adopt two beautiful children out of the State Foster Care System. They currently have 2 kids and are adding Teiara who is 2 and Andre who is 4.
We would love for our community to surround them with love and care for the next month. We are calling all in the IHOP-KC and Kansas City community to volunteer to bring them meals, grocery items, gift cards, do yard work and help clean their house during this transition.
Many of you have been feeling the heart of the Father to care for the orphan, but you are not able to adopt right now or work directly with children. Volunteering to help an adoptive or foster family is an easy and practical way to walk out James 1:27 “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this to care for orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”
Would you help the Wilson Family?
